The annual Miami ING Tropical Marathon is taking place on Sunday, January 27th, 2008. This Miami sports event has been traditional since it first opened in 2003. With over 12,000 participants, the marathon has become a popular Miami event. It begins at the American Airlines Arena, runs for 26.2 mile. and draws the finish line in Bayfront Park.
